We offer toughened flat gauge glasses that are favoured in a variety of industrial and engineering applications. The standard material used isborosilicatebutaluminosilicateor soda lime can be supplied depending on the application.

These glasses are available as Reflex, Transparent and High pressure types. They can be supplied in a full range of lengths and sections to imperial or metric tolerances and comply with the following international standards

• BS 3463
• DIN 7081
• JIS B 8211
• MIL-G-16356

Replacement glass, including Jergusson series 5 12 Klinger TA28 and others are manufactured to order using the original specifications in borosilicate or soda lime, and in transparent and reflex types.

We can manufacture any* gauge glass to suit special or obsolete gauge types. Enquiries should be accompanied with dimensions and service application.

A full range of gaskets, cushions and micas is available in a variety of materials to suit all standard sizes and types.

The side facing the medium chamber is provided with moulded grooves set at an angle of 90 degrees. The moulding process enhances the resisting power of the glass grooves against wear; and the "skin" attained during the moulding process provides maximum smoothness and hardness to the glass. This makes the KLINGER Reflex Gauge Glass highly resistant to the attack of boiler water.

Applications

KLINGER Reflex Gauge Glasses provide the optimum solution for applications up to 35 bar saturated steam, they are corrosion resistant and provide an absolutely clear indication. Reflex glasses are suitable for all media excluding steam at service conditions up to 400 bar or up to 400 DegreeC temperatures.
